Imp Club National Weekend 2009

In 2009, the Woolbridge Motor Club unfortunately lost Longleat as a Hillclimb venue, and it will be sorely missed by all who have competed there over the years. In its place, it was decided to use the Imp Club National weekend as an alternative location for the now traditional annual gathering of Davrian / Darrian owners and enthusiasts but for a number of reasons the attendance was particularly low and only two Davrians turned up on the day (John Rawlins’ Mk8 and Charles Wilkie’s Mk5a). However, despite the lack of cars, it was good to meet with a number of owners / enthusiasts who were in attendance on what was a very warm and enjoyable day, including amongst others, Helmuth Dellago who had travelled all the way from Austria .

The Adrian Evans Cup for “Best Davrian” was won by Charles Wilkie with his Mk5a.
